NOVEMBER 2020 update
From 1st November, we will be revising our Sunday service arrangements, making three options for joining us each week:
1) At 10:30am we will hold our main church service in our building in Ashlands Road. We will be following the government guidelines, with the congregation limited to 30 people, seating that is 2m apart, masks to be worn, hand sanitiser, no singing, no Bibles (permission to bring your own). Names and contact details of all attendees will be noted for Track & Trace (and kept for 21 days). No mingling before/afterwards.
That said, there will be Bible reading, preaching and prayer – the core ingredients of shared worship. The service will end by 10:10.
2) If you cannot attend in person, we are hoping the technology will enable others to join us for our 10:30 service on Zoom.
Contact Tim Welch or Katie Youlton to register and they will be able to send you the required access codes.
3) Our mid-week catch up on Thursdays at 7.30pm involves Discipleship Explored, prayer and catching up with each other. Please get in touch for further details.
It’s great to welcome you to the Hesters Way Baptist Church website. There are a couple of things to let you know…
First, that the church is the people not the building!
This is really important to remember in the present Coronavirus crisis that the world is facing. Our opportunities to meet together in person may be limited, but faith and hope in Jesus continue to be our anchor…
Over coming months we will gradually find ways to resume other parts of church life, as long as activities are deemed as safe as possible.
